The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a Burundian trio of referees led by Georges Gatogato to officiate of the CAF Champions League second qualifying round first-leg game between Esperance Sportive de Tunis and AS Douanes of Burkina Faso. Gatogato will be assisted by compatriots Hervé Nduwayo, Olivier Nibogora and Bertrand Manirakiza. Esperance Sportive de Tunis announced on Sunday that the match had been moved to Yamoussoukro in Côte d’Ivoire. The venue has been chosen by Burkinabe club AS Douanes as Burkina Faso does not yet have a stadium approved by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The first leg will be played on September 17 and the second leg on September 30 in Rades.
