The Indictment Chamber of the Tunis Court of Appeal has decided to extend the detention of those arrested in connection with the

case known as the “state security conspiracy”, according to defence lawyer Samir Dilou.

In a statement to TAP Tuesday, Dilou stressed that the Defence Committee had filed an appeal against the decision.

The arrests in the “state security conspiracy” case date back to February 2023. They have targeted opposition politicians, lawyers and businessmen.
