The Tunisian Darts Association was unanimously admitted as a full member of the World Darts Federation (WDF) during the 27th session of the General Assembly of the he international body, held on the sidelines of the World Cup which is being held in the Danish town of Esbjerg from September 22 to October 1, with the participation of 54 countries.
Since February 2023, the Tunisian Darts Association has been a temporary member of the WDF. It has just been admitted as a full member along with four other countries, namely the Arab Emirates, Mauritania, Nigeria and Ghana.
During the event, the African Darts Council has also been admitted for the first time within the WDF.
President of the Tunisian Darts Association, Taoufik Labidi, who attended the General Assembly in Denmark, said that Tunisia was awarded the organization of the first edition of the African Darts Cup on 22 to April 28, 2024.
