The Consulate General of Tunisia in Tripoli (Libya) operated a toll-free number 00218213409479 for members of the Tunisian community in eastern Libya and in all areas affected by the floods to report any emergency.

The Consulate offered its sincere condolences to the brotherly Libyan people in a statement issued on Monday, wishing a prompt recovery to the injured.

Floods caused by torrential rain hit eastern Libya in recent days, killing and injuring scores of people.
