President Kais Saied discussed the general situation in the country and the government’s work over the past few days during a meeting with Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani at Carthage Palace on Monday afternoon.
Saied stressed the need to make progress in purging the state apparatus of all those who have entered it illegally, ‘especially those who do not work according to the principles of public utility and, in particular, the principle of neutrality.’
The President of the Republic pointed out that a draft decree has been prepared to carry out a comprehensive audit of competitions and recruitment procedures from January 2011, which will be submitted for discussion at the next Cabinet meeting.
