On Tuesday, 12 June 2022, Provincial Minister of Infrastructure Tertuis Simmers, will officiate the sod turning of the Killarney Gardens Mixed-use Development.

This will form part of the Western Cape Department of Human Settlements’ efforts to de-densify and to relocate households that are currently located in the Atlantis rail corridor, which is impeding its functionality.

Minister Simmers said: “This will be a momentous landmark towards achieving the de-densification and improving the living conditions of the Dunoon community members. I therefore look forward to officiate this occasion.”
