Media Invitation: Deputy Police Minister engages community of Maruleng Local Municipality on GBV and anti-bullying

LIMPOPO – In line with governments effort to address Gender Based Violence and Femicide and concerns of bullying emanating from some schools in the area, the Ministry of Police will host a Ministerial Imbizo in Maruleng Local Municipality in Limpopo.

Deputy Police Minister, Cassel Mathale will on Friday 12 August 2022, lead the community engagement and will be joined by the national and provincial management of the South African Police Service (SAPS), in engaging the community of Maruleng.

The Ministerial outreach program will also provide a platform to discuss and engage the SAPS, on other identified crimes plaguing the community in this area. The Imbizo will also seek to promote and improve relations between police and the community at large.
