The national consultation on education reform will be launched on September 15. It will be made available on an electronic platform, said Education Minister Mohamed Ali Boughdiri.
The national consultation announced by President Kais Saied will run over two months to offer citizens the opportunity to put forward their reform proposals, the minister told TAP in an exclusive interview.
The national consultation includes 20 questions on a number of key themes, namely the future guidelines of the education system, teaching methods, school hours, assessment and other issues.
The findings will be credible and transparent, Boughdiri said. The Education Ministry will release a saynthesis report outlining findings as soon as the consultation comes to an end.
These findings will be adopted by the Higher Education Council which will be set up under July 25, 2022, constitution in a bid to implement the national strategy for education reform in Tunisia.
