President Kais Saied toured different areas of Tunis on Friday evening, where he met with a number of citizens, exchanged views with them and listened to their concerns, particularly with regard to the high prices of some products and the availability of a number of basic commodities in the markets, and the need to combat all manifestations of monopoly and illegal speculation.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic, Kais Saied also took note of the failure of environmental protection and land development in one of the capital’s main streets. He stressed the need for municipalities and all relevant bodies throughout the Republic to play their role in preserving the environment.
