President Kais Saied met with Minister of Health Ali Mrabet at the Carthage Palace on Monday afternoon.

The meeting discussed the projects to be implemented by the Ministry of Health, in particular the oncology centre in Gabes, the presidency said in a statement.

It also addressed the need to control imported and locally produced medicines and to create strategic stockpiles, especially of life-saving medicines, “as medicine is part of national security and the right to health is a natural human right”.
