The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Hamza Abdi Barre had a sideline meeting at the United Nations Headquarters with the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Mahmoud Moheildin.
Key matters addressed during the meeting included #Somalia’s ongoing economic reform, anti-corruption initiatives, strong financial management, revenue growth, and post-heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) investment plans.
The Director praised Somalia for having made efforts to combat corruption and the developments made in the process of debt relief which is at the final stages.
