Provincial senior management spend time engaging learners

Kwanobuhle: The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nomthetheleli Mene led her team of senior managers to visit three schools in Kwanobuhle yesterday as part of their social engagement project to curb gender based violence and femicide in all facets.

The project of visiting schools was one of the build-up activities towards the culmination of a main event, a community engagement (imbizo), which is scheduled to address issues of crime, especially gender based violence and femicide, on Friday, 12 August 2022.

The three schools that were earmarked and visited were Nkululeko, Phaphani and Sikhothina, where several key crime prevention messages were packaged and communicated in the language that is appropriate for children. The day’s activities were closed by musical items and demonstration by the SAPS Provincial band.
