GIYANI – Police conducted a crime awareness campaign in Dingamazi village today.

The campaign was conducted simultaneously during the introduction of the Chief to the community by the Maswanganyi Royal Council.

The Sector Commander, Warrant Officer Nkanyani and Limpopo Men for Change Public Relations Officer, Constable Ridgewell Rikhotso sensitized the community about various topics including:

Illegal firearms

Business robberies

Non-compliance by tavern owners

Gender-based violence (GBV)

Missing persons

Community Policing Forum (CPF)

Child neglect

Back to School campaign and

Illegal shebeens.

The contact numbers of Community Service Centre (CSC), Station Commander and Mopani District Commissioners were also shared with the community.
