The Enfidha-Hammamet international airport received 3617 tourists of various nationalities, in two days, on May 11 and 12, Rym Damer, press officer at TAV-Tunisie, the company operating the airport, told TAP on Saturday.
She explained that eight flights from several European capitals and cities landed at Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport on Thursday, May 11, with 1282 passengers on board.
The airport recorded, Friday, the arrival of 14 flights, mostly from British cities, with a total of 2335 tourists.
“The visitors were well received by the airport authorities, which facilitated customs procedures for tourists who chose Tunisia as a holiday destination, especially in the hotel units of Sousse, Hammamet, Monastir and Mahdia,” the same source said.
She noted that the frequency of flights at Enfidha airport testifies to the significant improvement of the tourist indicators during the last period.
