Monday’s stock market session ended with minimal fluctuations as the Tunisian stock market (Tunindex) fell by a marginal 0.01% to close at 8,941.71 points. The turnover amounted to 5.3 million TND, according to the analysis of broker “Tunisia Valeurs”.
The STIP share was at the top of the charts. The tyre specialist’s shares rose 3.8% to TND 4.400 in virtually flat trading.
SIAME shares were among the session’s biggest gainers. The company’s share price rose by 2.7% to TND 3.820 dinars, attracting TND 50,000 in trading.
Monoprix, on the other hand, bore the brunt of investor sentiment during the session. With transactions reaching one million Tunisian dinars, the stock fell by 4.8% to TND 5.500.
In the face of a bearish trend, Euro-Cycles shares continued to fall, losing 3.5% to close at TND 13.490. Notably, this stock generated a trading volume of TND 106,000 during the session.
SFBT was the most active stock of the session. The producer of soft and alcoholic beverages posted a modest gain of 0.8% to close at TND 13.800. This increase was supported by a capital inflow of 3.4 million dinars, driven by a block transaction worth 3.1 million dinars.
