TAP bode farewell Wednesday to one of its most brilliant journalists and former managing editor Monia Rihane. The late Monia Rihane passed away aged 62. She had joined TAP news agency on July 1, 1987, after obtaining a Master’s degree at the Press and Information Sciences Institute (IPSI) and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the Missouri university, USA, where she had spent three years. The late Monia Rihane worked in the International News Desk and the Political Desk. She had a career of over thirty years at the Economic and Financial News Desk and had become the first managing editor in 2018. This in addition to her full mastery of French, Arabic and English. Monia Rihane retired in 2021.
