Tunisia is taking part in the 15th BRICS summit, which is held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from August 22 to 24.
The event will be attended by more than 60 countries from all continents.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, has been mandated by President Kais Saied to lead the Tunisian delegation to this BRICS summit, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ammar will take part in the dialogue session between the BRICS group and Africa on August 24. He will deliver a speech on Tunisia’s policy of cooperation between the two parties.
He will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts throughout the summit.
The BRICS group comprises five emerging economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
