The Presidency and National Treasury have released a progress report on the implementation of economic reforms to mark two years since the establishment of Operation Vulindlela.<\/p>\n
Operation Vulindlela was established in October 2020 as a joint initiative of the Presidency and National Treasury to accelerate the implementation of structural reforms.<\/p>\n
\u201cBy fostering collaboration and coordination across government in support of the reform agenda, Operation Vulindlela has achieved significant progress in a short space of time,\u201d said the Presidency.<\/p>\n
The report published by the Presidency on Wednesday provides a detailed update on progress in the implementation of priority reforms in the electricity, transport, water and telecommunications sectors as well as reforms to the visa regime.<\/p>\n
