{"id":59345,"date":"2023-05-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-05-09T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dailysouthafrica.com\/?guid=85be7c32869dda882dde24f55215667c"},"modified":"2023-05-09T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2023-05-09T00:00:00","slug":"tunisia-to-host-volleyball-african-club-championships-men-and-women-may-11-to-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailysouthafrica.com\/tunisia-to-host-volleyball-african-club-championships-men-and-women-may-11-to-23\/","title":{"rendered":"Tunisia to host Volleyball African club championships (men and women) May 11 to 23"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P> Tunisia will host the African Volleyball Clubs Championship (men and women) from May 11 to 23, said President of the Tunisian Volleyball Federation (FTVB) Mohsen Taleb at a press conference on Tuesday.<\/P><P>The games will take place in El Haouaria and K\u00e9libia for the women&#8217;s tournament and in Nabeul and Grombalia for the men&#8217;s tournament.<\/P><P>The men&#8217;s competition will see the participation of the following clubs:<\/P><P>They are AS Marsa &#8211; Tunisia, MS Bousalem &#8211; Tunisia, Zamalek SC &#8211; Egypt, JSC Ouled Adouane &#8211; Algeria, FAP, PAD, and Cameroun Sport &#8211; Cameroon, Chief of Naval &#8211; Nigeria, Muger Cement, Wolaitta Dicha, Madda Walabu University &#8211; Ethiopia, KPA Volleyball Club &#8211; Kenya, Green Team, VC Espoirs &#8211; DR Congo, Green Buffaloes, Zambia Volley-club &#8211; Zambia, RIG &#8211; Rwanda.<\/P><P>The final list of participating teams will be decided at the technical meeting scheduled for Wednesday, he added.<\/P><P>Tunisia champions Esperance ST, as well as Etoile SS and CS Sfaxien had refused to participate for internal reasons, according to the same source.<\/P><P>The Women&#8217;s Championship will kick off on May 12.
