TUNIS: Tunisian Koussay Ben Ghares bagged the gold medal in the Men's -100kg category of the African Senior Championships Individuals, after defeating Cameroon's Frank Ulrick Tahman Zan in the final played on Saturday in Cairo (Egypt). This is Tunisia's second gold medal in these championships after that won by Oumaima Bdioui in the -48kg category. Tunisia's medal count also include 4 bronze won by Yassine Kouraichi (-90kg), Wahib Hdiwech (+100kg), Sarra Mezoughi (+78kg) and Zaineb Trudi (+78kg). Alaeddine Chalbi won a silver in the -73kg.
