Asbu 2023 Festival: High-tech exhibition and programme market inaugurated

The exhibition of cutting-edge equipment and the radio and television programme market organised as part of the 23rd edition of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) Festival, which opened on Monday and runs until June 15, 2023, were inaugurated on Tuesday at the City of Culture Chedly Klibi by the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Hayet Guettat Guermazi, accompanied by ASBU President Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, in the presence of the Palestinian Minister of Information, Ahmed Assaf, and Syrian Minister of Information, Butros al-Halaq, as well as several ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Tunisia.

Visitors to the exhibition will discover the latest developments in technical equipment and technological tools, thanks to the participation of a wide range of cutting-edge equipment companies, service providers and operators in the field of modern communication technologies.

The programme market, meanwhile, offers a showcase for audiovisual content production and broadcasting companies, as well as Asbu member radio and television organisations, private and international Arabic-language radio stations and television channels to present their latest productions in the media and artistic fields, thereby raising their profile and helping to promote radio and television programmes in the Arab world and elsewhere.
