Tunis: Chief Executive Officer f the African Union Development Agency - New Partnerships for Africa's Development (AUDA - NEPAD), Nardos Bekele-Thomas, underlined during a meeting with Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani the Agency's willingness to explore ways of strengthening cooperation with Tunisia in several promising sectors. The meeting, which took place on Wednesday at the Government Palace in the Kasbah, focused on the Agency's activities and the projects it oversees on the African continent, as well as the current status and prospects of cooperation with Tunisia, according to a statement from the Prime Ministry. Prime Minister Hachani stressed Tunisia's commitment to supporting effective joint African efforts, alongside the important role of the African Union institutions and structures. Tunisia is keen to strengthen its cooperation with the Agency, particularly in areas such as infrastructure, logistics, pharmaceuticals, vaccines and several other sectors, including medicine and medical tourism, he add ed, noting the role of Tunisian experts in advancing African cooperation.
