According to South African Government News Agency, when Bafana Bafana walk onto the pitch for the opening match, it will be exactly 16 years after their historic game on African soil against Mexico. This time, the fixture unfolds in Mexico, adding a unique twist to the occasion. The Deputy Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Peace Mabe, in collaboration with HONOR, will be present at public viewing events at Tembisa Mall and t he Mall of Africa in Gauteng.
