The winter training camp of Belgium's Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht (RSCA) is underway in Tabarka until Janaury 14. This training camp is organised in collaboration with Tunisian National Tourist Office (French: ONTT) at a luxury hotel and sports complex, with the participation of 26 players. "Tabarka is town of 20,000 inhabitants most known for its scuba diving and its coral, which is used in jewellery," RSCA said in their live blog. The RSCA's Mauve TV channel also covered the team's daily training sessions in Tabarka, offering the Tunisian region a high visibility among fans of the 'Mauve' team and other Belgian and European clubs. Tabarka has become over the past few years a privileged destination for Arab, African and European teams, such as FC Lausanne (winter training camp in in January 2023). RSCA are getting ready for the confrontation with La Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian cup and the second half of the season. A friendly game against Al Ahli SC of Tripoli (Libya) is planned next Friday. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
