Defending champion Ons Jabeur (world’s 6th) suffered a surprise early elimination from the Berlin Open, after losing to German JuleNiemeier (world’s 120th) 2-0 (7-6, 6-4) at a round of 32 game played on Tuesday afternoon.
Ons Jabeur had won last year’s edition after defeating Swiss Belinda Bencic at the final.
