Bizerte: three agreements on establishment of digital service centres signed

Agreements for the establishment of three digital services centres in the municipalities of Menzel Jemil, Metline and Ghezala (Bizerte Governorate) have been signed between the departments of the municipalities concerned and the relevant administrative authorities.

At a ceremony held to mark the occasion, the Governor of Bizerte, Samir Abdellaoui, stressed the importance of these digital spaces in bringing administrative services closer to citizens, particularly in the interior regions, which suffer from poor geographical coverage of administrative services.

He said “the selection of the three municipalities by the committee responsible for examining the applications at the Prime Ministry is a success for the regional municipal system as a whole.”

It should be noted that 30 applications have been approved by the Technical Steering Committee at the Prime Ministry, including the 3 municipalities in Bizerte Governorate.

The programme is part of the “Govtech” e-governance programme to support digital transformation, which runs until June 2025.
