Bultfontein: Police in Bultfontein have arrested a 30-year-old woman after a man (29) was allegedly fatally stabbed with a broken glass bottle in Phahameng, Bultfontein.
According to South African Police Service, the incident occurred on Saturday, 29 March 2025, at about 03:05. Police were summoned to a complaint of a domestic dispute in Phahameng. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male lying motionless on the ground with a stab wound to the ear. It is reported that an argument erupted between the couple, during which the female suspect allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a broken bottle. Emergency services declared the man dead at the scene.
The 30-year-old female suspect was subsequently arrested for murder. She is scheduled to appear in the Bultfontein Magistrate's Court on Monday, 31 March 2025.
