Young people from the commune of Bittou organized the 1st edition of the inter-service football tournament from August 24 to August 25, 2024 on the football field of the multipurpose hall. It was following the request for a gala match from Bittou youth to the department heads that the first edition of the Bittou inter-service maracana football tournament took place. Placed under the theme: 'football, a factor of social cohesion and resilience in the commune of Bittou', the Bittou inter-service football tournament opened its doors on Saturday August 24, 2024 on the football field of the multipurpose hall of Bittou. The inter-service football tournament was sponsored by the president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Bittou, Mohamed Lamine Diabaté and co-sponsored by the head of the Bittou customs office. The various speakers all preached social cohesion, a spirit of resilience and peace in Burkina Faso and in Bittou in particular. The 1st edition of the inter-service small pole maracana fo otball tournament pitted the team of transit agents against that of the transporters. The transit agents team won by a score of 2 to 0.
