The two candidates for the local elections run-off in the Daouar Hicher locality Mohamed Amin Ayadi (270 votes, i.e. 28,75 %) and Ahlem Ayari (198 votes, i.e. 21.09%) have presented their electoral programmes to the residents of the region. Mohamed Amin Ayadi, a 35-year-old employee in a private company, has pledged to modernise infrastructure, revive stalled road infrastructure projects, promote educational institutions, revitalise industrial zone activities, and enhance public transportation services. His electoral agenda also places a strong emphasis on supporting individuals with disabilities, as well as families with limited income. On the other hand, Ahlem Ayari, a 30-year-old higher education graduate and civil society activist, has vowed to fulfil her role as a local elected official, acting as a bridge between citizens and local authorities.
