Candidates for the local elections run-off in El Gtifa locality of Sbikha delegation in Kairouan, Farhat Ben Belgacem Balti and Farhat Abderrahmen Balti continue their election campaign. In the initial round, they secured 170 and 103 votes, respectively. Candidate Farhat Ben Belgacem Balti pledges to focus on the development of rural routes, connecting wells to the electricity grid, renovating the local primary health centre, and launching businesses for rural women. He also promised to establish a centre for childhood and youth, regularise land tenure in Henchir El Gtifa, and implement a collective transportation service. On the other hand, candidate Farhat Abderrahmen Balti advocates for rural development, the refurbishment of the local primary health centre, the construction of a new centre, and the creation of a recreational space and a football field.
