Child burns to death in Kavango West

A two - year - old boy died in a hut fire at Sivaradi village in the Kavango West Region on Wednesday . The Namibian Police Force in a report on Thursday said the incident occurred around 20h00 at the village . The boy was identified as Stanisius Muhanga and his relatives are informed of his death . The police said it is alleged that the fire victim was with two other boys aged six who both escaped the fire unharmed . The incident reportedly occurred when the children wanted to cook while their parents were not present . The remains of the deceased were taken to the Rundu State Hospital mortuary .
