Condolences Extended Following Fatal Isipingo Road Collision


Isipingo: The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) has extended condolences to the families and loved ones of the 11 passengers who died in a road crash in Isipingo, Durban. The incident occurred at approximately 08:30 on Thursday morning when a Toyota minibus taxi collided with an interlink truck on Wanda Cele Drive.



According to South African Government News Agency, the RTMC expressed its acknowledgment of the pain and loss experienced by the affected families and the broader community during this time. In a statement released on Thursday, the corporation emphasized its commitment to investigating the circumstances that led to the tragic collision.



The RTMC, in collaboration with the South African Police Service (SAPS) and other relevant authorities, has dispatched investigators to the scene. The goal is to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the crash to prevent similar incidents in the future.
