The National Guard’s central drugs squad in Laouina recently managed to dismantle a network active in cocaine trafficking from a Latin American country.
Three people had been arrested and about 150 grammes of cocaine seized in El Mourouj (Governorate of Ben Arous) in a security operation carried out in coordination with the Public Prosecutor, official spokesperson for the National guard said.
After further investigation, a 4th person involved in the case and in contact with a drug trafficking network in a Latin American country, had been arrested in Béja, the same source specified.
