Tunis: The newly appointed Minister of Education, Saloua Abbassi, was sworn in at a ceremony presided over by President Kais Saied at the Carthage Palace on Tuesday. President Kais Saied decided on Monday to dismiss Education Minister Mohamed Ali Boughdiri and appoint Saloua Abbassi as his successor, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic. Mohamed Ali Boughdiri was appointed Minister of Education on 29 January 2023, replacing former Education Minister Fathi Slaouti, following a partial cabinet reshuffle by President Saied.
