Erij Messadi, researcher at the Laboratory of biomolecules, venoms and theranostic applications, Tunis Pasteur Institute, won a gold medal at the 48th edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva (April 26-30).
The event is the largest annual event in the world devoted exclusively to invention.
Messadi participated with an invention, Lebecetin, a c-type lectin, as neovascularisation inhibitor. This is a therapeutic molecule to treat ocular neovascular diseases and neovascular diseases with inflammatory component.
