President Kaïs Saied, during a meeting with the Minister of Religious Affairs Ibrahim Chaibi at the Carthage Palace on Monday, stressed the need to make every effort to facilitate the performance of this year's Hajj by the country's faithful pilgrims. The Head of State was informed of the reductions agreed with the National Services and Residences Company and Tunisair, in addition to the reduction in the exchange rate that can be applied by the Central Bank of Tunisia, according to a statement from the Presidency. The President of the Republic also instructed that the guides be selected on the basis of objective criteria, since their role is to accompany and guide pilgrims throughout the holy sites, in addition to providing all health services to pilgrims whenever they need an ambulance or medical intervention, according to the same source.
