The Ministry of Family, Women, Children and Seniors and the United Nations Children's Organization (UNICEF) - Tunis Office, agreed, on Wednesday, to provide equipment to 20 inclusive public kindergartens during a meeting held between Family Minister Amel Belhaj Moussa and UNICEF Representative in Tunisia Michel Le Pechoux. This initiative is part of the programme implemented by the Family Ministry to increase the number of inclusive public kindergartens in remote regions and consolidate preschool education in Tunisia, reads a statement of the ministry. The two officials discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation in the areas of early childhood and threatened childhood, promote programmes of inclusive public kindergartens as well as provide psychological counseling to children and their families through the toll-free number 1809.
