Tunisia's basketball team on Friday beat Kenya's 90-69 on day 1 of Group E opening window of the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers, hosted by Monastir. Tunisia will take Guinea on Saturday and Angola on Sunday. Twenty teams drawn into five groups of four each are taking part in the qualifiers. Each team will play each opponent in its group twice in a "tournament" format over three windows, to be held in February and November 2024 and February 2025.
