At continental level, Tunisia also slipped from 3rd to 6th place behind Morocco (12th, +1), Senegal (17th, +3), CAN runners-up Nigeria (28th, +14), Egypt (36th, -3) and African champions Côte d'Ivoire (39th, +10).
