FM Nabil Ammar and Omani counterpart ink 14 agreements, MoUs and executive programme

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Badr Al-Busaidi inked 14 agreements, memoranda of understanding, and an executive programme by the end of the 16th session of the Tunisian-Omani Joint Committee, held, Wednesday in Muscat. The agreements covered various sectors, including health, transportation, education, higher education, tourism, culture, youth, sports, diplomatic training, employment, vocational training, and religious affairs, reads a statement of the Foreign Affairs Ministry. A joint statement was issued following the committee's proceedings, affirming Tunisia and Oman's solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the heinous Israeli aggression. Minister Ammar reiterated the need to create a joint investment fund and overcome challenging hindering the promotion of trade. He underscored the role of the private sector in establishing successful investment partnerships. The Minister welcome d the business meeting held on the occasion of the Joint Committee between a delegation from the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Commerce, and Handicrafts and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman. On his part, the Omani Minister praised Tunisia's leading role in promoting peace and stability at the regional and international levels.
