Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar met on Wednesday in Cairo with Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit. This meeting was held during Ammar's participation in the 161st Session of the Arab League Council, reads a Foreign Ministry press release. The talk turned on ways to boost the relations between the Arab League and Tunisia, as well of Tunisia's presence in the Arab League's structures, and helped discuss this session's agenda, especially the the Palestinian cause and ways to put an end to the brutal aggression against the Palestinian People. Nabil Ammar further met with his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Yahya. The meeting helped discuss ways to foster the bilateral relations, notably by expanding the activity of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) through its "Kuwait Capital" branch in Tunisia, resuming cooperation in the development field with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and strengthening technical cooperat ion between both countries. On this occasion, both FMs agreed to hold the 4th session of the Joint Tunisian-Kuwaiti Commission during the Kuwaiti FM's visit to Tunisia at the invitation of Nabil Ammar. The FM also had a meeting with Mauritania's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, during which both officials reviewed ways to boost the bilateral cooperation in different fields and discussed the current regional and international issues, especiallay the Palestinian cause, and this session's agenda.
