Windhoek: The police at Swakopmund are investigating the discovery of a foetus in a skip bin in the Tamariskia residential area on Saturday . A weekend crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force ( NamPol ) on Sunday indicated that the foetus , thought to be between seven and eight months old , was found around 08h00 by a man who was searching for scrap metal . It was wrapped in a blood - stained yellow polo - neck jersey and plastic bag . The man reported the matter to the police , who then took the remains to the Swakopmund State Hospital mortuary for further handling . No arrest has been made yet and police investigations continue.
