Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, on Wednesday handed over to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi, a written letter from President Kais Saied to the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, on bilateral relations. According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister held a working meeting with his Omani counterpart, during which they stressed the strength and depth of the historical ties that unite Tunisia and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as the sincere political will of the two countries' leaders and their determination to further strengthen bilateral cooperation relations. During the meeting, which reviewed various aspects of relations, the two ministers stressed the need to focus joint efforts to achieve a qualitative leap in the process of bilateral cooperation and elevate it to the level of an effective partnership for the benefit of the two countries and peoples. The two ministers also dis cussed a number of issues of mutual interest, stressing the harmony and congruence of the two countries' views and their commitment and adherence to principled positions on various issues, especially the just Palestinian issue. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, is on an official working visit to the Sultanate of Oman, with a mandate from the President of the Republic, to chair the 16th session of the Tunisian-Omani Joint Commission with his counterpart, the Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi.
