Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Expatriates, Nabil Ammar, met on Wednesday in Cairo with his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Mekdad, within the framework of his participation in the 161st session of the Council of the League of Arab States at ministerial level. The meeting was an opportunity to stress the two countries' keenness to further strengthen the excellent bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two peoples. The two foreign ministers also discussed the items on the agenda of the League Council and the efforts to support the Palestinian people who are being subjected to a genocidal war by the occupying Zionist entity.
