Four more suspects have been arrested for the killing in Soshanguve that claimed the lives of four people, including a teenager on New Year's Day. They were arrested during an intelligence-driven operation by the Hawks' Serious Organised Crime Investigation team based in Pretoria and the Hawks' Tactical Operations Management Section (TOMS). 'The suspects, three males and one female, were arrested on the night of 06 January 2024 in various areas around Pretoria, which brings the total number of arrested suspects to six. Three firearms, an AK 47 and two pistols were confiscated. 'The suspects will appear in the Soshanguve Magistrate's court on Tuesday 9 January 2024 on charges of murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm,' the South African Police Service (SAPS) said on Monday.
