The IGAD Member States validated the IGAD Regional Food Safety Strategy to strengthen regional food and nutrition security.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs also updated the developments of the war in Sudan to the IGAD Secretary Executive.
The session agreed to implement the IGAD Roadmap for peace in Sudan, uphold Sudanese ownership, and involve the AU in deliberations.
Progress on preparations for a face-to-face meeting of the parties in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia will be reported to the IGAD Heads of State and Government.
