Integrated operation leads to confiscation of drugs with an estimated street value of R81,000

CAPE TOWN – An integrated planned operation today yielded positive results when drugs with an estimated street value of R81 000 was confiscated in Tafelsig.

The members of the integrated law enforcement agencies, led by Mitchells Plain police members, followed up on information pertaining to dealing in drugs, and proceeded to an identified address in Du Toitskloof Street. Upon arrival the members searched the premises and confiscated a total of 2497 mandrax tablets and cash. Two males aged 30 and 37 and a female aged 26 were arrested and detained on a charge of dealing in drugs.

Once charged they are expected to make a court appearance in Mitchells Plain on the mentioned charge.
