Interior Minister Kamel Feki met, on Wednesday, Syria's ambassador in Tunis, Mohamed Mohamed. The two sides stressed the strength of the historical relations between the two countries and their common desire to continue bilateral cooperation, especially after the restoration of diplomatic relations. They reviewed areas of cooperation and ways to develop them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples, according to a statement from the Interior Ministry. The meeting, held at the request of the Syrian Ambassador, is part of the preparations for the planned meeting between the Minister of the Interior and his Syrian counterpart Mohammad Khaled al-Rahmoun, on his participation in the 41st session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, to be held in Tunis in February.
