Kebili: The Nefzawa City event will be launched on May 3-4 at the Kebili Higher Institute of Technological Studies (ISET), in the presence of some 30 Tunisian and foreign media outlets, over 50 companies and representatives of major organisations. The event will focus on methods of exploiting artificial intelligence (AI) applications in the media, development and culture sectors, with the participation of a group of entrepreneurship experts. The event is an opportunity for young people in the region to present their project ideas, which can be implemented and funded by some structures, Deputy Director of Programmes at the Association Nefzaoua for Higher Education and Scientific Research Ahmed Amri told TAP on the sidelines of a press conference held on Wednesday at Radio Nefzawa headquarters. The Nefzawa City Hackathon will feature the ISET of Kebili for two days as a miniature image of the intelligent city, adopting artificial intelligence applications to serve the economic, development and youth support sectors, he pointed out.
