CAPE TOWN – With serious and violent crime high on our priority list, members of the Provincial Task Team assisted by other units took to the streets last night in search of a suspect who was wanted for a murder he committed in Kraaifontein last week Thursday. The 27-year-old suspect was traced and arrested, and he will face the murder charge against him tomorrow in the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court.
This operation also took detectives to various addresses in the Kraaifontein and Scottsdene areas which were searched. This led to the arrest of three more suspects, two males, aged 18 and 24 and a 21-year-old female who were caught in possession of prohibited firearms, a variety of ammunition and drugs. The three confiscated firearms were all without serial numbers.
Once charged, the suspects are expected to make their court appearances in Blue Downs too.
